Cacncellation Policy

[Reservation Cancellation & Postponement Policy]
To protect the rights of both parties, cancellations or postponements due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters causing traffic disruptions or a land typhoon warning issued by the Central Weather Bureau) will be eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. The final decision will be based on government announcements in the hotel’s local county or city.
Cancellations due to personal reasons (e.g., illness, last-minute schedule changes, vehicle breakdowns, or unfavorable weather) will be processed according to the following policy. Guests may also choose to retain the deposit and reschedule within two months. No refunds will be given for no-shows on the day of check-in.
1. Cancellation Policy (calculated based on the check-in date):
• Same-day cancellation: No refund.
• 1 day before check-in: 20% of the deposit will be refunded.
• 2-3 days before check-in: 30% of the deposit will be refunded.
• 4-6 days before check-in: 40% of the deposit will be refunded.
• 7-9 days before check-in: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
• 10-13 days before check-in: 70% of the deposit will be refunded.
2. Postponement Policy (for rescheduling due to personal reasons, notice must be given at least 7 days in advance):
• The new check-in date must be within two months of the original check-in date.
• Any special promotions from the original booking will no longer apply.
• The new room type must be the same as the original booking or of equal value. If upgrading to a higher-priced room, the deposit will not be refunded, and the price difference must be paid.
• Only one reschedule is allowed. After rescheduling, the deposit is non-refundable.
• Guests must confirm the new check-in date within two days after requesting postponement. Otherwise, it will be treated as a cancellation, and refunds will follow the cancellation policy (transaction fees will be covered by the guest).
3. Cancellation Due to Natural Disasters:
If a typhoon, earthquake, or other natural disaster causes traffic disruptions and the local government or the guest’s local government announces work and school suspensions, the guest may choose to receive a full refund or postpone their stay within two months.
